Divine Nature

God’s divine power has been bestowed upon me, and all things are absolutely needed and suited to life and godliness, through the full, personal knowledge of Him are mine. He has called me by and to His own glory and excellence. I have been given exceeding great and precious promises; I am a partaker of the divine nature and have escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

I give all diligence (earnestness) to the divine promises, and I exercise my faith to develop virtue (excellence) and in exercising virtue, I develop knowledge (knowing), and in exercising knowledge, I develop self-control. In exercising self-control, I develop steadfastness (patience endurance) and in exercising steadfastness, I develop godliness, and in exercising godliness I develop brotherly affection, and in exercising brotherly affection, I develop love (agape).

These qualities are mine and they increasingly abound in me, and they keep me from being idle or unfruitful unto the full personal knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As I give diligence to make my calling and election sure; I shall never fall. (2 Peter 1:3-10 Amplified Bible)

I’m filled with the knowledge of the Father’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; and I live and conduct myself in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to the Father and I desire to please Him in all things. I’m bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance and recognition.

I’m invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His Glory, to exercise every kind of endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father who has qualified and made me fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints in the light.
